What course level should I start with?
We recommend most people start with a Level I course.
This is not just to learn the specific craft and technical elements of writing that we teach but also to get exposed to the specific craft language used by us throughout our 4 levels of writing tuition.
Being able to identify, assess, communicate, critique and modify specific concepts & constructs in a consistent manner and in a group setting of shared language and understanding requires a shared vocabulary and baseline.
If you already have what we term 'equivalent experience', which likely means a degree in creative writing (not just 'experience in writing' or 'having written xxx/a book/etc.' and having taken numerous technique-focused courses or workshops, then contact us (outline your formal writing education in a short email to our faculty, listing any degrees, writing courses or workshops attended or other formal training in relevant, related fields) and we'll help you find the level that's right for you.
